My new recipe box

My mother-in-law and I talk a lot about cooking. She is a great cook and has a huge collection of recipes. My hubby has told her she should try to organize them and put together a recipe book. Well, she is in her eighties and she doesn't want to do that. But, she does give me a lot of recipes. She gives me the recipes on note cards and I have been putting them in a drawer in our kitchen. Last week, I told her I wanted to make the basted carrots she told me about, but I couldn't find the recipe she gave me. She gave it to me over the phone and I made it that night. Yesterday, she gave me a recipe box with alphabetical dividers to store and keep my recipes organized. It was such a nice and thoughtful thing for her to do. I told her thank you very much and promised to put all my recipes in my new recipe box as soon as I can.
