Very sad to hear about David Cook's brother

Last year we knew that David Cook was going to win American Idol when there was still more than a dozen contestants left. Luckily, the fans that watched agreed with us and voted him American Idol for 2008. My hubby also wanted him to win because he is from a suburb in Kansas City where my hubby was born and grew up. We were very sad after we heard that David's brother passed away last week after a long battle with cancer. It was hard for my hubby to hear that because his brother's wife, Carol, is fighting terminal cancer. Well, we both prayed for David's brother, his family and Carol at church today. When things like this happen, it reminds us how important every day we have in our lives are precious and priceless.
