We went up to the mountains today just south of Breckenridge. There is a big hill there that is real popular for sledding. It was a very nice day, but a little breezy at times. We got up there around 11am and there were a lot of cars in the parking lot. Luckily, there wasn't too many people on the hill sledding. I guess the other people there were doing other activities like back-country skiing and hiking. Rachel did pretty good watching us sledding down the hill, but after a while we were afraid the wind was making her a little cold. So, my hubby decided to leave early and take her home to play it safe. I had such a blast sledding down the hill with my friends. I have never done it before and it's amazing how fast you can get going. After we took pictures while we were sledding, we went back to our cars to have lunch. We had some great food packed and I was so hungry. Then, we drove to our friends' house Joy in Bailey on the way back to Denver and had homemade chicken soup, it was so good and the chicken was very tender. We stayed there and visited for a while before heading back home. What an awesome and fun day. I am really tired and have a feeling I will be a little sore tomorrow.
